Food Photography - Persia Grill


I am just sticking on food photography for this post. I think, pag nag babasa ka ng food magazine, at makikita mo ang mga pictures ng food sa mga pages, I think 3 ang taong sangkot; ang food critique, ang food stylist, at ang food photographer.
Dun na lang tayo sa gustong gusto ko hehehe, mag shoot, this time eh mga foods, mga Persian foods (some) from Persia Grill, SM City North Edsa. Di na ako mag co comment kung ano lasa nila, how's the service, basta stick lang ako sa shooting - I should commend na lang siguro the place, perfect ang pasok ng natural light sa loob na tumatama sa mga food, yung white plate, baso, at yung mga foods mismo, the presentation, maraming elements of texture, rich in color =). I just switched my camera, Canon D10, to macro mode for shallow depth of field. Voila!

Hummus
- Velvety chick pea, tahimi, and garlic dip served with Pita bread -

Chicken served in quarters, marinated overnight, cooked whole stuffed with combination of vegetables in pomegranate sauce

- Gormeh Sabzi -
Often said to be the Iranian “national dish”. It is a mixture of beef, sautéed in herbs and vegetables served with pickled gherkins.

Mixed greens with cucumber, tomato, mango, grapes, croutons, and Parmesan cheese with Persian dressing.

naalala ko my persia grill din sa megamall.. dun dapat sana kami magrereunion ng mga college friends ko kaso yung umorder kami ng beer wala na daw ice kaya yun lumipat nalng kami ng pwesto nakaorder pa naman kami ng dinner... naluto na nga yata e.. pero perfect ang place at malinis.. :)

alcohol trip pala ang trip ng tropa nyo no? di nyo ni-try yung hookah? gusto ko ung mlaking sofa dun, maraming throw pillows, feeling arabo na rin ako, sana may camel na rin sa loob or mga belly dancers! =P

Mukhang masarap din ang food. Kaya yung nauwi nalang kami sa Gerry's Grill. Kailangan may camel. dapat may disyerto.

I have tasted hummus before.... but without the pita bread, its delicious infairness kahit di maxadong maganda tignan yung nakain ko

@Nikka so pano, ano na bibilhin mong camera? hehehe, pag nakabili ka na, pwede na kita isama sa aming mga photoshoot around the metro kasama ang ibang mga photography enthusiasts na gumagamit lang ng point-and-shoot camera. Sino sino kami sa photography club? Me, myself, and I. - awwww gusto ko talaga magkaroon ng photography buddy! - gawan ko to ng isang post minsan.

@ Arvin, Gerry's grill? Okay ba food don? Meron ata dito non sa alabang town center.

@Chef T.R. - sa Persian Grill din ba yun? Tinanong ko yung waitress sa P.G. kung ano yung chick pea, di nya ako nasagot. Garbanzos pala yun sa tagalog. Akala ko patani.

@ollie: yup ok naman ang food dun. Nagkamali yata ako Dencio's yata yun. but anyway mas masarap sa dencio's. Lalo na sisig nila.
