Tridacna Gigas - Also known as giant clam that can weigh more than 200 kilograms and measure as much as 47 inches across, and an average lifespan of 100 years or more - as likely to become endangered and vulnerable species, these colorful bivalve mollusks are being closely monitored and reproduced in a marine sanctuary in Silaki Island - Philippines.
